Is the Grand Canyon on Your Bucket List?

Let's go learn just a little bit more about Bucket Lists. Here's the definition on Merriam Webster: “Bucket List”. It's a noun. What is a bucket list? “It's a list of things that one has not done before, but wants to do before dying.” And as it happens, there was a headline this past week that said, Country Music Breakout Mitchell Tenpenny To Perform at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Here's just a q...

    We were able to get a room fairly easily at Tusayan, its close enough to the rim for an easy drive, we were able to wake up and drive to the rim for sunrise over the rim in a very short time then come back for breakfast then return to the rim before 9 am.

      Hey, Thank You for sharing that. We encourage people to stay in Tusayan for 2 reasons. 1-Oftentimes, the Lodges at the Rim are Sold Out! 2-The Tusayan Hotels have the Amenities you are looking for in Pools, Hot Tubs, and more to do after the Sun goes down.

    I wouldn’t call the f40ph a antique locomotive. It was most likely built in the 70s-80s. They have a top speed of of about 100 mph. The trip could be much quicker but then you wouldn’t get to enjoy the train nearly as much.

    What a disappointment based on another RUclips review we decided to book this train ride 05/02/21 Don’t waste your money drive to the canyon cost was over $600.00 for my family of four round trip first class served a stale muffin and cold cup of coffee. You can rent a round trip van much cheaper and see the same boring sites along the way a lot cheaper.

    • @fluffnose3386
      @fluffnose3386 2 года назад

      Uhh. I don’t know what the heck you got, but we got the dome car, and the luxury parlor car for a round trip and the total cost was $380. For coach class it is $60 for a ride in an antique railroad car with complimentary drinks and live music for 2 hours. That definitely sounds better than taking a boring ass van with no bathroom. Something tells me that $600 claim is a FAT lie.

    • @nranger125
      @nranger125 2 года назад

      @@fluffnose3386 I believe the cost for 1st class round trip with taxes and park fees is a round $140.00 per person so if you have the ability to ad thats around $600 for 4 adults. Even at the $60 you said you paid it's a rip off!!

You should have At Least used text-graphics to title these places, so people could look them up.

    I have this fantasy of hiking to Phantom ranch via Bright Angel Trail but that fantasia will likely never come to fruition for the simple reason that I don't think I could handle doing the 1.5 mile hike down to the first rest stop and back .. not because of a lack of stamina but because I would be so fixated on the depth of the canyon near the edges of the path, I would probably be frozen with fear. This looks like a goo alternative to see the bottom of the canyon but I can tell just by this short video that the view of the canyon from this location pales in comparison to what I've seen i from the bottom when people hiked down so just to say "i've seen the bottom of the canyon" would not be something that would interest me .. but that's just me

    I was there yesterday and it's beautiful. However, it's a little deceiving for you to say "for a small fee". The cost per adult was $88 and children 3-10 years cost $77 each. That was actually the most affordable deal. So almost $400 for a family of 4 is NOT a small fee. Please advice your viewers that it is beautiful but it is VERY EXPENSIVE!

      @@hamoodshadi9240 The prices are for the South Rim. Drove with the family from Vegas only to find out that since the South Rim is in Indian territory you can't see the grand canyon unless you pay them hundreds of dollars to take their tour. If you don't pay you can't see it because it's completely fenced. Dropped over $500 that day in gas, food and tour tickets just to visit something I thought was free. Next time I'm trying the North Rim. It's a longer drive but I heard you only pay the fee to enter the National Park.
